Designer bowls
These unique designer bowls are made from the horns of the Ankole cattle. The Ankole is a Ugandan tribe known for their cattle with huge horns.
Barkcloth table cloth
The making of barkcloth has been a part of Ugandan culture for centuries, and is a UNESCO world heritage.
This unique fabric is made from the bark of the matuba tree. Removing the bark does not harm the tree, and it can be harvested for decades.
Barkcloth is ceremonial dress for royalty, chiefs and heirs during coronations and funerals.
All gift boxes contain a card with the story of the farmer who grew the coffee – with a personal greeting from him or her. We also include the story of Wild, and explain what makes our business model unique.
In addition, a traditional coffee gift from Uganda is included: coffee beans wrapped in banana fiber – the way coffee was shared at ceremonies and special occasions.

My name is Endre Vestvik, the founder of Wild.
I grew up on a small farm in Norway, but moved to Uganda in 2017 to start Wild when I realized how inherently unfair the coffee industry is.
Our goal is to have the lion's share of the value of the coffee remain where it is grown: here, in the heart of Africa, at the birthplace of coffee.
Doing all value addition at source is the only way to end centuries of injustice in coffee.

In addition to various types of our award-winning coffee, the boxes contain locally produced chocolate and/or unique handmade bowls made from Ankole cow horns. Each box also includes a traditional Ugandan coffee gift – beans wrapped in banana fiber. Finally, a card with the farmer's story and greetings, as well as the story of Wild, is included.

Hvordan er skattereglene ang gaver til ansatte?
Skatteregler for gaveartikler og gaver til ansatte.
Hovedregler:
Gaver i arbeidsforhold er i utgangspunktet skattepliktige for mottakeren, uavhengig av om de gis fra arbeidsgiver eller tredjepart, dersom gaven har sammenheng med arbeidsforholdet.
Arbeidsgiver har fradragsrett for gaver til ansatte innenfor de skattefrie beløpsgrensene.
Skattefrie gaver
Julegaver og andre gaver: Skattefri for mottakeren dersom verdien ikke overstiger kr 5 000 per år. Gjelder både naturalytelser og gavekort som ikke kan innløses i kontanter.
Jubileums- og oppmerksomhetsgaver: Skattefri inntil kr 4 000 ved spesielle anledninger (f.eks. 50-årsdag, bryllup, bedriftens jubileum, fratreden etter minst 10 år).
Tjenestetid: Skattefri gave inntil kr 8 000 ved 20 års tjenestetid, og deretter hvert tiende år.
Bagatellmessige oppmerksomhetsgaver: Blomster, kaffe, rimelig vinflaske mv. anses som skattefrie dersom de er av bagatellmessig verdi.
Skatteplikt
Overskrides beløpsgrensene, skattlegges det overskytende beløpet.
Gaver i form av pengebeløp er alltid skattepliktige, uansett beløp.
Gaver til ansattes familie innrapporteres som lønn på den ansatte.
Innrapportering
Skattefrie gaver skal ikke innrapporteres.
Skattepliktige gaver innrapporteres som lønn (kode 299 for naturalytelser, "Kontantytelse - Lønn - Annet" for pengebeløp).
Fradragsrett og MVA
Fradragsrett for arbeidsgiver gjelder for gaver innenfor de skattefrie grensene.
MVA-fradrag: Fradragsrett for inngående merverdiavgift på gaver med enhetspris ≤ kr 200 inkl. mva.
Oppsummering av beløpsgrenser - ansatte:

Hvordan er skattereglene ang gaver til kunder?
Skatteregler for gaveartikler til kunder og forretningsforbindelser.
Hovedregel:
Kostnader til gaver til kunder og forretningsforbindelser er som hovedregel ikke fradragsberettiget verken skattemessig eller for merverdiavgift.
Unntak – Skattemessig fradrag
Enkle oppmerksomheter, som blomster, kaffe eller lignende, med verdi inntil kr 317 per tilfelle, kan gis med skattemessig fradrag.
Gavegjenstander utformet med reklame for øye (for eksempel med firmalogo) i større antall, og med verdi inntil kr 317 per gjenstand, kan også føres til fradrag.
Overskrides beløpsgrensen, er ingen del av kostnaden fradragsberettiget.
Merverdiavgift
Det er ikke fradragsrett for inngående merverdiavgift ved kjøp av gaveartikler, med mindre verdien er av bagatellmessig verdi (≤ kr 200 per enhet inklusive mva).
Dokumentasjon
Det skal dokumenteres hvem som har mottatt gaven, og det bør føres lister dersom det er snakk om mange mottakere.
Regnskap
Gaver som er fradragsberettiget føres på konto 7420 (gave, fradragsberettiget) eller 7320 (reklamekostnad) avhengig av formål.
Ikke-fradragsberettigede gaver føres på konto 7430.
